the county fair

i look forward to the fair every october. looking back to last year, hannah and libby both seemed so little then. i remember libby just staring at everything and pointing. this year she wanted to ride everything but her most favorite was the carousel. she must have ridden on "the horsies," as she called it, at least five times. hannah loved the big slide, and went down about seven times in a row all by herself. she was very independent and didn't have any reservations about hopping on a ride by herself. tim loves the fair food, and had to get his usual corn dog and funnel cake, and of course he had to play the games where you spend $10 to throw a dart at a balloon and in return you get a 50 cent stuffed animal (he won stuffed unicorns for the girls that are pretty cute, i have to admit). i love being out in the cool night air, seeing all the bright lights and colors come to life as the sun fades, and watching the girls have so much fun. we make the best memories at the fair.
