let's see, what's new with libby... i fed her rice cereal for the first time sunday. she did a good job for her first feeding, was interested in the texture and new taste. i mixed it with formula, so i tried to feed her a little of the leftover formula from the bottle. she still will not latch on to the bottle, but she did drink some and acted like she liked it. i gave her more rice cereal last night before bed time - holding out a little hope that it might help her sleep* better and longer, but it didn't. tonight i mixed in a little bit of banana and she loved it; she dove for the spoon and smiled big while eating it.
also tried giving her a sippy cup of water last weekend. she mostly just chewed on it.
*speaking of sleep, we are trying to get her to start the night off by sleeping in her crib. a couple nights ago we laid her on her belly, turned on her sleep sheep and patted her bottom. that worked well enough, but now she is onto our tricks. tonight she started crying as soon as i turned on the sleep sheep. it's hard to juggle trying to get two girls down to sleep when one is crying right across the hall. i'm so thankful when tim is here to help me.
