train spotting

libby's favorite thing to say is choo-choo. she loves trains. so sunday we decided to take a trip downtown to see if we could spot one. sure enough, right after we walked down to the tracks we heard one coming. she loooved it. we stood and watched until it passed.

teddy bear teddy bear

this weekend hannah brought teddy bear home from school. apparently, all the kids have a turn with teddy and each kid puts pictures into a binder documenting their time with him. i made these two collages to add to the binder. both hannah and libby treated teddy like a special visitor and gave him lots of cuddles. 

old friends

at the end of january, the girls and i drove to montgomery to meet up with one of my good friends from high school. she has two girls at about the same age as hannah and libby, and they all got along great. it was so nice to catch up with her in person, and i can't wait until our next get-together. life gets so busy but i hope we can do this as often as possible.

rub-a-dub-dub

this afternoon seemed to drag along, so i put the girls in the bath super early, at 3 o'clock. they played for an hour, until their hands and feet were all wrinkly. they always think it's a special treat to take a bubble bath in mom and dad's big bathtub.
